Hypnosis is the most natural state of being you can think of, and it's something you do yourself, many many times every single day. Here are some examples you might recognise...
Have you ever arrived home, parked the car, and couldn't quite remember how you navigated the last stretch of road? You seemed to have driven home on autopilot!
Have you ever been washing the dishes, thinking about something else entirely? But the dishes still got washed perfectly well? How did you do that...?
The last time you read a book on a train, or a plane, and managed to get absorbed in the story so much you were oblivious to your surroundings...how amazing is that?!
There are many other times during the day when our conscious mind seeks out a little "down time", and the sub conscious mind takes over...and this is exactly what hypnosis is. Our subconscious is the key to almost everything we do; the habits we have, the routines, our words, our memories, our responses to external stressors....the lot. If we can talk to the subconscious, we can effect a visible change in our lives.
Anyone can receive a hypnotherapy session, because it is you who puts yourself into hypnosis...I simply guide you there. And your subconscious' job is always to keep you safe; which means you can come out of hypnosis anytime you choose to, and will do and say only the things you want to while under hypnosis.
